More about me
For almost 20 years I’ve run meditation and personal development workshops and retreats. I’m trained as a DJ, a drum therapy facilitator, and a comedy improv performer. I’m also a qualified vocational teacher, a lover of climbing, cycling, movement and music…and I hold two postgraduate qualifications in counselling.

My life’s work has always been about one thing: helping people reconnect with their confidence, intuition, strength and joy. Body Rhythm & Soul brings together everything I’ve studied, lived, tested, and embodied — a multi-modal pathway that blends therapy, coaching, creativity, rhythm, physical challenge and self-expression.

Participant Outcomes
Body Rhythm & Soul helps you:

-

-
Release stored tension and trauma from the body
-
Express emotions you’ve never been allowed to show
-
Rebuild trust in yourself
-
Strengthen confidence through challenges
-
Feel more alive, grounded and connected
-
Learn healthier boundaries
-
Overcome fear in supported, manageable ways

-
Integrate mind, body, creativity and courage into one whole system
Clients often say this is the first time therapy has ever “clicked” —
because you’re not just talking about change, you’re living it through your body, your creativity and your power.

Experience & Qualifications
I bring together over 20 years of experience in counselling, teaching, and personal development to help people find clarity, healing, and calm.

I’ve worked in many areas of community support — from youth justice as a conference convenor, to counselling and training at domestic violence agencies, to teaching in community services and outreach programs. Along the way, I’ve supported people from all walks of life, including neurodiverse clients, people in the justice system, and those in drug & alcohol rehabilitation.

Beyond professional roles, I’ve spent two decades deeply exploring personal development through programs like The Artist’s Way, psychodrama, retreats, and workshops. These experiences fuel my passion for helping others release old baggage and reconnect with their authentic selves.

My counselling approach is primarily Person-Centred Therapy — grounded in empathy and respect — while also drawing on psychodynamic and Gestalt Therapy techniques when helpful.

Interviewing the Burnout Lady!

I've been to two of Seka's workshops and also an ecstatic dance event - both were such a joy! She's incredibly skilled, creates a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and makes everyone feel comfortable while learning, letting go, and just having a great time
